About geoAscent

geoAscent llc is a single-member limited liability company registered in Colorado (formerly in Texas). It is the legal and financial entity behind two trade names, soulaTerrains and terraSojourn, which operate in tandem.

Gregory Klein is the founder, owner, operator, and single member of geoAscent llc.

soulaTerrains is geoAscent’s trade name for building map apps. Its bedrock phrase is “apps and maps to the new world,” where the new world means the inner landscapes of the soul. The name emphasizes the sacred nature of earth-centered community. Learn more at soulaterrains.geoascent.net.

terraSojourn is geoAscent’s trade name for exploring bioregional networks of tiny home and camper clusters: sustainable, regenerative communities seeded in partnership with others. Its bedrock phrase is “tangibles for sondering wanderers.” Learn more at terrasojourn.geoascent.net.

They are the two legs on which geoAscent stands. soulaTerrains works in the app; terraSojourn works on the land. Both focus on the soul’s Earth journey and on community, including concern for affordable housing and for people who are unhoused.

geoAscent is bioregionally nomadic. Its work centers on the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado, the Central Texas Hill Country, the Texas Gulf Coast, the Central Texas Colorado River, and the Rio Grande, from its headwaters in Colorado to its mouth in far south Texas.

They are legacy operations of GeoAscent LLC. Web Works’ website building has refocused into soulaTerrains, and Home Works’ remodeling business has been let go of in favor of terraSojourn. Their websites remain online as archives.

GeoAscent Creative Works is Gregory Klein’s personal, community-oriented art and writing project. It is expected to be rebranded, with its focus largely unchanged.
