The LLC exists as the legal and financial/tax entity for geoAscent’s two operational expressions.

GeoAscent’s former Web Works’ website building business has largely transitioned to a more purely map-app build business—which was always a part of Web Works.
This new operational focus is using the trade name “geoAscent soulaTerrains“. This name was created (by geoAscent) to emphasize the soul’s terrain, the inner landscapes that earth-centered community helps us explore, which is inherent to the communal character and soulful vibe of the intended app builds.

soulaTerrains’ current stone inscription (or bedrock phrase) is “apps and maps to the new world”. The new world is the inner world landscapes of the soul. This is the New Earth terrain that these intended map-apps seek to explore and express.
It’s anticipated that creative writing, graphic creation, animation, and video will remain a part of this work. Also, geoAscent may still engage occasional, highly selective website builds when such builds are synergistic to the company’s app focus, and when such builds are outside a primarily AI purview.

GeoAscent’s former Home Works’ remodeling business was initially intended to transition to tiny house builds and camper-trailer refurbs. I’m now seeking to bypass that stage — going immediately into exploring the practicals of establishing bioregional networks of tiny home and camper clusters.
a communion of regenerative communities
How can such a communion of communities help sustain each other, even where some within these communities are bioregionally nomadic? Indeed, how might the bioregionally nomadic actually facilitate even a regenerative aspect of such communities?
I’d like for geoAscent to be involved with others in co-facilitating the seeding of such sustainable and regenerative communities. This requires partnering. While the tiny house builds and camper refurbs would necessarily still be a part of this work, it’s no longer something that I seek for geoAscent to manage on its own.
These concepts are being explored through the trade name “geoAscent terraSojourn“. This name was created (by geoAscent) to emphasize the mobile and location-changing nature of such campers and builds. It was also created to emphasize an intended focus on earthy nature-based locations for this work.
tangibles for sondering wanderers
terraSojourn’s current bedrock phrase (or stone inscription) is “tangibles for sondering wanderers”. It’s about tangibles because, here, the focus is on the physical enabler mechanisms of such community. And it’s about sondering because, while wandering, the concern is for those with whom we connect, even if only tangentially.
Even though terraSojourn is only just now entering its initial exploratory phase of such work, the previous home remodeling business has already been completely let go of. GeoAscent LLC was in the home remodeling business. geoAscent llc is not.
soulaTerrains and terraSojourn
Both names, terraSojourn and soulaTerrains, were created by geoAscent to reflect their combined focus toward the soul’s Earth journey.
These two community-oriented business expressions are intended to operate in tandem and synergistically.
The two names also subtly suggest an implied focus on affordable housing and concern for those of us within the community who are unhoused.
This is intentional.

Creative Works
For legal and tax reasons, and to protect the standing of my LLC, I will, unfortunately, likely need to partition these creative works into personal art and business commerce territories. (I’ve been advised to not overly identify myself and my creative work with my LLC, lest I risk its legal protections.)
My efforts upon such matters, for the last several years (really my entire adult life), have been about more tightly integrating my personal and work lives into one life. Determining how to now further separate them, in a way that is acceptable to my soul, will require some serious contemplation. This will take time.

Creative Works (soon to be rebranded), while a part-time hobby, is my community-oriented passion project, my principal creative outlet, and my most purpose-driven work. soulaTerrains and terraSojourn are “for profit” expressions of geoAscent (though very community-oriented), helping to fund Creative Works while providing for my basic lifestyle.
Creative Works (under its TBD rebranded name) will help to synergize the most regenerative aspects of both terraSojourn and soulaTerrains. I wish to network with others of similar work interests. You can connect with me using either of the links near the bottom and top of this page.

Under the Web Works expression, I create occasional, select web apps and sites. This includes design and visual &/or vibe-coded development. It also includes creative writing and AI graphics, animation, and video & music.
I’m particularly interested in projects for unique townships, STRs with a touristic focus, and projects with an eco-geological &/or community-oriented focus. An example of such a project might be the creation of a web app for all the eco-focused organizations within a geo-region or the creation of a website repository of map apps.
